Marble

A natural stone with all natural beauty.

Marble is an ideal material for bathroom vanity tops, table tops, window sills, and fireplace hearths.

Marble is composed primarily of calcite and a relatively hard stone but not as hard as granite. Therefore, marble is more susceptible to staining or etching. Etching happens when acids microscopically eat away at the surface of the stone and characterized by “dull” spots on the surface of the material. This effect can be visually minimized with a honed surface instead of a polished surface.

The majority of marble comes from Italy, India, and Spain. Marble adds sophistication, legacy, and elegance to a room. White Carrera Marble is a stone know across the world by a legacy of tradition but there are marbles available in a unique variety of color variations and patterns.
